Year 2 will be more trying for our family, when we arrived, we had to find a place to live, register the children at school, find a car, find a job for Marc and more...Here, housing for a long period is really rare, it's like a lottery, when there is one free, 5 of us visit it, and who knows who will be chosen....After 2 moves into a vacation condo, we finally got our chance, the condo wasn't the hottest on the place but we needed it and quickly, the rental agent had compassion for us, so she chose us....we found little things at Walmart to create a nice little atmosphere, I used our Christmas lights from last year to decorate "THE" children's room, yes, one room for 3, and 1 for Marc and I and the office...Not easy for our 14 year old Olivier, but with Hawaiian fabrics and a big straw rug, we made divisions so that each child could have his own little personal cave. Marc painted the condo, at our expense before moving in, the carpets were washed but, the dishwasher and the washing machine were not working, grrr after 1 week of washing in the sink, we finally got our Maytag repairman, at this time of September 29, we are still waiting for our new dishwasher, one day we will have it... Don't forget that here, the world lives in the present moment, the "Aloha spirit", so much so that to foresee something is very arduous, the returns of calls are rare, but not to be discouraged because if it is the case, we are as well to return to Quebec on the spot... the adventure continues...
