BTBAG...inspired and designed in Hawaii

From 2013 to 2019, our family was on the run, experiencing a sweet adventure between Quebec City and especially Kauai, the garden island of the Hawaiian archipelago. We had fallen in love with the bohemian life that this Pacific archipelago allowed us to live in exotic nature with our three children. You can read my blog posts about it here.
In 2016, I started making bags and tote bags from the beautiful authentic Hawaiian floral fabrics I found in Kauai, but it was in 2017, surrounded by coconut trees, that the idea came to me to create my own photographic collection of floral designs. My goal was to transform the wilderness with my camera and computer to offer a new range of original designs, which would then be transformed into a high quality textile product for the world of decoration and fashion. In 2020 and despite the Covid 19 crisis, I am finally ready to launch my 9 collections of Hawaiian floral designs, named after our favorite secret Kauai corners such as Napali, Hanalei, Anahola...

Patterns are everywhere!
"My travels and observation of nature have made me discover that patterns are absolutely everywhere. Every flower patch or water particle, every human or animal component is the sum of distinct repetitive patterns. It is also impressive to see that every culture in the world uses pattern as an art form to dialogue and create part of their visual identity. I felt like exploring this avenue by creating unique and new patterns to share with the world of design, decoration and fashion".
